luxury accommodation such as fancy tents in which to retire each night,

all times, soft saddles, well informed guides, cultural shows including

challenge yourself you could choose to ride with only the camel driver for

long swishing skirts, heavily embroidered tops and colourful scarves,

wear white but on their heads are turbans in colours of jewel tones. The

the crests and half moons you will come across charming little oasis and

vagaries of time. Step down from your steed and linger amidst these rocks
and stones, unearth their legends and learn stories of passionate warrior
kings and their beautiful, self sacrificing queens. Along the way you will
see some unique wildlife, exclusive to the desert ecology. Try and spot
the cunning desert fox, the chinkara antelope and the Indian bustard. If
you decide to ride from one city to another you will most probably be
journeying to some of the cultural and artistic hotspots of Rajasthan, the
Shekhawati region includes such towns as Ramgarh, Nawalgarh, Dundlod,
Mandawa and Churu and is famous for its artwork interestingly displayed on
the walls of its mansions and havelis. The more common safari will take
you to to the architectural ruins of Lodurva that are close to Jaisalmer,
the oasis at Anasagar, the sand dunes of the Samm and the water source of
Moolsagar. But the best thing about the safari is that the organisers
understand that its your journey and they will do everything to tailor it
as per your wishes and make it as interesting as you want.
