The Karni Bhawan Palace has been built in a luxurious art deco style,
it’s doric pillars, ornamental staircases and large windows are a
testimony to the aesthetic brilliance of the past. Though it has been
turned from a royal residence into a hotel, it’s original
character has been preserved and retained for modern-day guests. Old
paintings, photographs, period furniture and curios make it a cozy
haven for travellers. 
Visually the Gajner Palace is absolutely stunning, spread over 6000
acres of land and built on the embankment of a lake. Its red sandstone
architecture contrasts brilliantly with blue skies and lush greenery.
This heritage property has been painstakingly maintained to retain the
opulence of royal Rajasthan. Once used as a hunting resort by the
Maharajas, it even has a wildlife sanctuary of its very own, which
houses endangered antelopes (like the chinkara, black buck and
neelgai) among other animals. The sanctuary and the lake attract more
than a hundred species of migratory birds during the winter months.
